Thats what his site says.....I would say its a typo before I thought Tom Nelson was BS'ing.
Here's what the page for the 402 TT says:

couldn't get a RPM pickup signal reading ??

gotta love electronics. if you couldn't get the reading...make sure you have all of your grounds connected & look for the pink wire...lol.

We have the RPM one too, not sure why he put it up on speed, but probably for the comparison charts we have up on another site.

You my friend have one hell of a car! I have no idea what that kind of hp feels like. But I hope to find out what 600-800 at the wheels is like next year when my car is done. Beautiful car man!

No, the track was closed, but we are leaving at 3:30 today to head to Kil-Kare raceway in Xenia Ohio.

Track was a learning experience tonight, just trying to figure out the new setup. No full passes due to traction issues.

You use MPH when RPM signal gets a little squirrelly with a stall converter. The graph comes out cleaner and easier to see everything. Otherwise if/when the converter flashes it comes out rather interesting to say the least.

I must say one sick build.
