Well, after a long discussion with the guys from the shop and some research on power, the stock motor may be on borrowed time at 1000rwhp... soo..







Pistons are 2-3 weeks out, power goals just went up.

Just made it official this week, I'll be in Houston for TX2k11 and the mile, hoping to have my car there, but I def want to see this thing in action!

 

are you going to at least get it on the dyno and get all the problems sorted out first? seems like it would be wise, plus we wanna see the vids lol. have you got the bunk turbo back from the rebuild yet?

 

Im moving back to Texas next week in the Ft. Worth area and I'll for SURE be at Tx2k11 and will not leave until I see this savage in action

 

Nah, probably not. Turbo is still out under warranty, and the CR/CI will change a little with the new setup. No point in tuning it on the stock motor only to retune it on a slightly different setup/more power. Motor is already out.

 

Good call on not doing work twice lol. I want to make it out to tx2k11 with a couple of buddies cars from socal here. Then again 800+rwhp is like a mid range car lol
