You could go that route but since you have an f body I would look at one of nasty's system. I have a complete Aeromotive Fuel system on my car but its going to cost you a lot of coin to go that route. Nasty's systems are proven and you wont have to sump your tank!

In addition to dual pumps, lines and rails at that power level you'll need low impedance injectors. At least 95 lbers with a low-imp driver box. A water/alky kit is highly recommended as well unless you're running E85. Acceleronics has a good kit to complete your fuel system.

With the 15 psi of boost I have spec'd out on your order, 80lb injectors should work just fine as long as your fuel system is up to the task. Bob

He could go with the 83lbs High Impedance and no need to run an after market injector driver .

Just a thought.

The High Z 83s flow like 95lbs at out rail pressure; no need for the headache that comes with an impedance converter. The 83's can feed more than that setup can handle without pushing water.

Look up a Video on youtube before you buy a A1000 pump. Those things are loud as hell. Just make sure you know how loud it is before buying it.

And also, as an FYI, Krisxpc is the one who helped me build my fuel system for my APS twins setup on a 370. Def ask him any questions you have. I am very pleased on my fuel setup that will handle about anything I throw at it this side of 1000 to the wheel.

He probably won't hear the pump over the F1A whine..... Sound of power.

The only time i can hear my A1000 is the 3 second cycle before I fire the engine..After that all I can hear is the blower..lol

IMO, 83s may work but they are not the best solution. 60s are the biggest I would run.

Adding one of those boxes is like an hour install tops and with the added benefits of better idle, cruise, gas mileage, and more injector options. Also, he can run lower fuel pressure where the pumps flow more yielding even more power capacity. Plus he'll have extra injector bandwidth if he wants to run E85 down the road.

I have used the 83's on a LOT of cars. They are stable as low as 1.2mS and they work well at a very wide range of pressure. There is nothing wrong with this injector. I've had more than one customer with a failed Versafueler. One of them may have been the customer's fault, but the fact remains, I've never had any of the 83's have issue.

We used the 83's on quite a few installs at the old shop too, and never had a problem with them. Bob
