28lbs is easy ??
Did you ever dyno the car with that setup? Funny how some pepole will say
you can't run more than 20lbs on LS1 without head lifting.
Its a wilson CNC billet piece, same guys that make the FAST intake, just much more "high boost" friendly. $3200
Fully forged bottom end, stock stroke forged crank, only reason was HKE was worried about the snout of the stock crank, with us using the direct drive and 10rib... better to be safe than sorry, however the stock crank may have been fine, we just didn't want to take chances since the direct drive puts much more tension on the belt/crank pulley/crank snout...
No issues with the heads thus far, but only dyno time and 2 passes at the track before I broke a drive line coupler. So not enough time to tell...
the dyno was 94* with a horrible D.A. much left on the table...

video that a friend pt together during a Dallas vs Houston private track event we just had
only 2 passes with the tune pulled back for me to get seat time in the car, turned up heat the 3rd pass and demolished the guibo coupler, so we'll have to go back to the track after the TxMile to get some real runs in...
19in NT05R DR's first time with these tires on the car, same tire we will use for the Mile so we wanted to try them out... not so much...
hopefully they work better for the Mile...
pass 1 1.97 60' 11.01 at 134mph
pass 2 1.93 60' 10.71 at 137mph
pass 3 broke...

H.C.
On the C6 there is a serpentine belt that runs everything but the A/C. The direct drive system allows for one 10rib belt to run the headunit by itself direct from the crank pulley, and the AC belt to now spin everything else VIA a jackshaft pulley... very tidy setup, and eliminates belt slip to the headunit once and for all...

I am not up on the Vette stuff, but is that referred to as the Cartek flip drive?
Thanks, Nice results BTW

beings that im an idiot lol, but i am curious as to the benefit of running smaller cubes vs bigger cube with the procharger??
