Love the build mate. Not sure if this question has been answered but did the stock ls2 die or did you just decide to go for a built motor instead?

I tried like hell to kill it... but was still running perfect when we decided to go forged, it's just sitting on an engine stand in the garage...

From a dig, not so much on the street, and at the track still learning the limitations...
From a roll 60mph with MT 345x18's rockin...
From a roll 60mph with NT05R's 345x19's they have to be very warm (John Force burnout)
Working on a few different traction control options now, to help at the track...

Wow, got to be impressed with that. What mods were done to get it as far as oiling and valve train are concerned?

With a good cam and a decent set of heads YES and the rest of the supporting mods.

I do some sbf f1r builds with 306 cubes that make over 800rwhp.

Ricky, my old Camaro with the 408 was seeing 19 to 20 psi with the F-1A with the stock ProCharger J Bracket. We had to be getting belt slippage. Unless you get thicker deck aftermarket 4 bolt per cylinder heads o-ringed, you're limited to how much boost you can shove in there. A 347 with an F-1C would not use up as much hp to turn the blower as the F-1R does, I think it would be the better blower on the 'lil motor. Bob

I would pick the F-1A or F-1C for a 347. An F-1A on a 347 can produce all the boost the engine's 4 bolt heads can handle. Take a look at how much power was made with the LS2/402 at only 12.4 psi of boost in the CTS-V's dyno graph shown below. My '99 Z28 had a 408 with an F-1A, and was making 19 to 20 psi of boost. Bob
