I keep hearing how loud it is......how much louder than the D1SC is it?

Any videos anywhere to hear it idling?

I think you told me the D1SC is actually stealthy quiet, maybe it was someone else who told me that.

My neighbors already hate me.....

Sounds like a big difference to me. The F1A is squealing much higher tone.

Question...all else being equal......how much more power will an F1 put out over a D1SC? Lets say you just swapped the units, retuned, and dynoed. I guess if changing cams would make a properly matched set-up, change just the cam for the comparison tests.

Huh....thats not too bad.

So whats the numbers/specs on that set-up?

Is the F1C the one that requires moving the radiator...?

....also, what rims are those?

Its not my car but the description says - Built 6.0L LS1 engine with a big blower (Procharger F1C) LQ9 block, built rotating assembly

He has a couple dyno vids that are labeled as 700rwhp but it never shows a graph or a peak number. Im guessing thats not even close to maxed out. F1C's make sick power

Is the F1C a direct bolt-in though?

The F-1C is not direct bolt in. It requires some cutting and moving the radiator around to get it to fit. I'd go with an F-1A. That owner of the blue car is a member on here, Firehawk853, his name is chuck and Ive spoken to him before about his setup and asked him a ton of questions about the car. He says the F-1C needs to much NA power and might be robbing the car of low end torque, and yes there are dyno graphs, it makes 780 rwhp, too lazy to look for the video. I'll bet if he added meth he'd get to mid 800's fairly easily. He also should probably ditch the stock suspension setup to launch out of the hole faster

F-1C = slightly more powerful than F-1A but requires extensive modification to get it to fit
F-1A = bolt in and go, almost the same amount of power as the F-1C. Go with that

Here is what an F-1A is capable of at only 12.5 psi of boost. Bob

If you ever decide to change your radiator out, get one build with the driver side bottom corner removed so you can run a real intake tract. It literally went from making 707rwhp to 808rwhp with just removing the hat assembly. If you had a intake that was not flat right off the bat like the stock setup (truck hats are better, but still not ideal), it would be great.

I wish I had my Howe radiator made like that.

That is my buddy's Firehawk, its retarded loud when with him, both the F1C and the 4" Mufflex. Very fast but very loud, i like driving my car daily. I'd feel bad for my neighbors starting it up at 6am going to work or even coming home from cruising at some late night hours. He had a D1SC on it before the F1 it was much more tolerable, personally i'd go that route but it just depends on your end HP goals with the car. I would be very happy with 700rwhp, easily achievable with the D1. Good luck with your build!

BTW his Screen name on the board is Firehawk853 if you want to do alittle searching and reading
