READ THE FIRST POST^, he has a GT-2 cam inside the block so that would NOT make it "stock internal". But it would be stock internal...with a cam.

Nice runs, fast plus lightweight does wonders.

stock bottom end never includes the cam, it means stock pistons, con-rods, and crank shaft. The name stock bottom end does not include bearings, cam, rod-bolts, main studs, timing chain, oil pump, etc.

Noyzee is going the fastest at the moment on the bottle and black98ws6ta is the fastest FI stock bottom end at the moment. Noyzee is upping the shot trying to get there. Congrats on everyone chasing the record.

Still need to get the car to the chassis guy to set the 4 link, get an alignment, etc. Should leave a lot harder after that, plus will be leaving on the transbrake and will have another 120rwhp. Car should still have A LOT left in it, lol.

I believe it is the stock shortblock 5.3 record, but not any stock shortblock lsx record yet.

Sorry I missed this earlier, 6400 is the most I try to shift at, limiter is at 6600 and I've hit it plenty of times spinning on the street. It's still the stock rod bolts.

I thought black98ws6ta had the record still, that is what I'm going for and why I decided on this build/setup.

Same here, it has another 120rwhp already from the track passes friday, I think we can dial in another 50-75rwhp above that also, plus getting the suspension set, lose some weight(hell 100lbs alone just by running less fuel), plus leaving on the transbrake. I'm hoping it goes 8's this fall on the stock shortblock.

I did make some long hard passes on the street Saturday night, some pulls to 170mph on 18lbs and not lifting the heads and pushing coolant, I figured that would be a good test.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty impressed that you are only turning it to 6400 to run those times.

I feel 8s are there in this setup.

I wonder how much the e85 is helping when it comes to not pushing water at your boost level

I think part of it is the converter/gear also. I'm dropping way too much rpm on my shifts. I'm hoping next time out it'll go ~153mph.

Thanks, I've got around $8500 in the entire car, including the price of the car.

I saw this posted over on norotors.

I'm doing a similar build cept in an FC with an LS1/LS6 and 853's utilizing a BB TC76 and 1.15ar on E85 thru an 8.8 SA.

Keep the updates coming!
