Yellow springs survive .550" Z06 cam w/boost?
Swapping a stock '04 5.3 into a '79 Malibu as a daily driver w/ intentions of budget TT after I get a rearend in the car and fresh paint. I want to change the cam and already have a new set of yellow z06 springs and moly stock lenth pushrods. Will the springs be strong enough to keep the intake valve seated with boost?

no max effort deal just want the engine to hold up to daily driving + enough power to spank most real modern street cars 450-500 RWHP sort of thing. I don't want to spin it 6000+ anything over 5500 all the time is border line abusive. 8-10 psi on small twins is max. twins on g-body with a/c probably easier to plumb than single 70mm t04

I wouldn't do it personally, risk / reward isn't in a ratio I like. Much better to do it once if you know what will work.
BTW, we all start out saying I'll only go to XX PSI. When I got my car I said no more than 8psi..... You will end up feeding the addiction, you are not special.

least expensive springs that will do the job w/.550" z06 cam and boost? The new yellow springs that I have came on LS9 prototype heads, if they will work with sightly more aggressive ZR1/LS9 cam and blower why not z06/turbo combo? Of course truck heads have steel valves and LS9 heads are ti intake/sodium filled exhuast (lighter).
