Killer Chiller?
Killer Chiller? I have never seen or heard of one these until just recently. Apparently this thing uses the air conditioning of the car to cool the boost charge. It's designed for mustangs and lightnings but I have eaton mp112 on my car. I dont see why it wouldn't help. Does anyone have any experience with one these? Can you tell me anything about them?
I never personally ran one, but a few of the cobalt guys (the s/c ones, you can search on their site, or in the cobra forums) have run it with some success. basically just runs in line with one of the a/c lines to cool things down, but none of my cars have a/c so never tried it lol.
My friend has it on his lightning. It does a great job of keeping temps down. The key to keeping the car from dripping with the ac on is to insulate the ac lines. He did this and the track has yet to say anything and our 1/8th mile track is **** about dripping. Also the guy running the company is a stand up guy. A month after my buddy got the kit it developed a leak inside the KC core and Kincaid dreplaced it with little to no problem.

another thing you can do is to buy a box on ebay that looks like a radiator and allows you to cool your intake charge without tapping into your AC system.

I've also heard of people cooling their intercooler water with the heater core....just plumb the water from the heater core to the a/w system instead of the engine, run your a/c on max, but put the thermostat on full heat. Most car a/c systems the air hits the evap then the heater core....so then you have 32ish degree air cooling your heater core (which is now your heat exchanger) without losing your a/c (or custom plumbing, etc).
