Smack talk here is like kindergarten compared to Pirate4x4! research, research research then research some more. then after you've dumped atleast $2500 on parts which would probably be near the minimum fot turbo, piping, fuel system, etc... Then start asking questions.

yea i was thinking around 3000-3500 for the turbo and truck manifold and piping and intercooler. its a long and painful process but i think well worth it

for a grand i would slap spray on it.. its fun too!

they usually say if you want to go boosted to take your budget and double it... in your case double it and then double that again... you could be in the ball park then..
hell im in for 4k in parts and i still need alot!! but im doin a full motor build trans built and everything good luck man

Sorry man but im to afraid to spray her... aluminum blocks just arent bullet proof like LT1s. i originally planned on getting a 50-150 shot kit and ZEX dual purge kit to pull up to civics and steam some rice but i just read to many horror stories about what nos can do to an LS1 :/

sorry about that everyone. miller is right! If you do it the right way with experience..it is great boost! i guess im just jealous because i dont know how to make it all happen so my engine doesnt blow up... teach me?

Lol @ ls1 not liking the spray.......

My car has several HUNDRED + passes on it with the old nitrous setup 125 hit/cam/bolt ons took me to mid 10sec. passes 127+mph all day long for more then 4 years and 120k until she gave up......Remember its all in the tune no matter what power adder!

You have a lot of reading to do.

But if you find some money I have a truck manifold kit for sale ($3000) and a stand alone nitrous kit for ($1000) for sale.
