Default Now im scared to put motor in

Ok, i wasnt going to post this, as i know that alot of you will say not too.

Here the thing, i got a 6.0 from a friend that came from a 2004 work van, with 43k on the clock. LKQ of ohio.

well, that said, hes a curious cat like me, and pulled 2 main caps and two rod ends to get a look at the bearings, well, i went ahead and did a bit of research on here looking for the correct sequence and amounts to torque the caps and ends back.

then, i read alot of people saying if you take them ends off, or the main caps off, you MUST replace the bearings in the motor. well ****, ive spent the night torquing the bolts and studs back to spec, and rod bolts to spec per ARP.

Now, im completley second guessing my choice of doing this.

I do this kind of **** all the time. what to do.

As long as you didnt mix the parts up or notice any damage/scoring of the wear areas, run it

You are fine. These engines have cracked rods. Only have to replace bearings on sbc's not ls based motors.... Run it and never look back.
