i respectfully disagree. my car leaves substantially more smooth off the two step,5#'s, and 5500 rpms, than it did without the two step at 6400 rpms on a heads/cam/75 shot setup. much less violent and similar 60's. (still dont know how long the trans will last though but mine has 107k miles of abuse haha). et goals are definitely obtainable too

i really like the new build over the old one, keep it up man. looking forward to how it runs. 110% get the 2 step, you will not be sorry

No auto swap yet, but I have been thinking about it. Driving in the street with the 6 puck kinda sucks..

Almost every local or remote turbo car that I know personally or have tuned with the power to run mid 10s that has run a two step has broken a trans or two before going a different route. Two 'prominent' members here include Mightymouse and Rice Etr. Besides that I have another vette owner and one rear mount owner locally. I can add another two cars that were tuned via email (owners had HPTuner's or EFI Live). Of that group, I don't know of a single car that has run one for any good length of time before it happened either. I'm not say that NO ONE can use one, I am just relating the experience of peers and customers. It was enough to make me pull the two step off of my own car and sell it.

I just spent the last 4 hours of my life doing a wire tuck on the driver side. It was the most tedious and unnecessary thing I have done on the car to date, not the hardest but still gay as AIDS. Heres how it went down:

Seperated the wires I didnt need anymore(TCS, ABS, washer fluid, AC, etc) from the other that will remain in use

Labeled everything before cutting the wires.

38 wires and a hole saw to the wheel well

The end result

Im going to pull the cruise box out and mount my fuse boxes in their place. Then Ill run the harness under the radiator support, and up the wheelwell on the passenger side to the PCM.

Im going to be drilling out the spot welds on the fuse box bracket and also putting a piece of sheet metal over the hole. Im going to weld up all the holes I can in the engine bay and smooth them out, then repaint.

Im pretty sure the one I used was 25.5 by 15... wasn't sure there was room for much if any bigger than that? Been awhile since I looked I guess

sorry thinking about starting my own build real soon. what exact radiator is that? where did you buy it? so it fits standing straight up in the stock location? without having to cut and make your own bracket?

Oh there is cutting lol.... you have to cut the upper rad support up pretty good (on the bottom side of it). And to make it sit "right" you have to modify the lower support.

Not a bolt on mod lol

UMI TA w/DS loop was bought off a member and is en route. Picked up a VA speed turbo cam from another member also. Hotchkis STB showed up at my house yesterday, also bought from another member. And some sheetmetal coil covers from a different one lol

Im still needing some 3point SFCs if anyone has some.

That is impressive! I learned alot from my ebay build last year and decided I need to use better parts to be able to drive my car all summer. I had issues with exhaust leaks, boost leaks, fluid leaks, overheating, all kinds of **** that I dont want to deal with again.
