I really doubt it, I work to much to be able to do it. Hell tonight I just started another shut down, 7-12s for the next 40 days. My friend is wanting me to build him a twin turbo kit for his 04 cobra so I may give that a shot next.

I bought a syncrowave tig for this purpose. I haven't ordered my tubing yet, but it will be here in the near future. I'm not going to mess with the headers yet, I'm going to roll with the mani's for now. Looks good man. I subscribed for the updates. I wanna see how the headers turn out.

Nope just got all my hotside tubing, flange and wastegate in the other day, my new turbo should be here soon. I'm working a shutdown on nights right now 6:20pm till 7:00 am 7 days a week. I just walked in the door and sat down, I'm to tired to mess with anything, plus my next step will be to weld out the headers and that will probably take all day.

Well one header is welded out, but just as I expected I warped the flange. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it. I was thinking of trying to bolt it down to a piece of heavy angle iron heat it up with a torch and tighten down with the bolts then let it cool slowly. And/or built it up with a weld overlay and have it machined flat.
The welds are far from the prettiest but there not going to leak, and the header actually fits better now in the car. I am going to work on the passenger side today.

I've seen some guys take it to a machine shop to have some material shaved off to make it true again.
How badly is it warped?
Btw, did you get a foot pedal for your tig? If not yet, you can sell that thing and pick up a syncrowave 200 with a footpedal for not much more. It adds balance control for aluminum, and the footpedal which imho is the key to good welding.
Btw, good looking headers

It's about a 1/16th to 1/8th out on the 2nd tube. I don't have any extra heads bolt it to, but I will bolt it to the angle iron I have on the next header. The flanges are 3/8 thick, that's why I was going to do weld buildup so I don't lose all of my thickness when it gets machined.

I'm off till January so I have plenty of time. I am really getting the itch to go racing since a few of my friends have their rides going. I'm going to the track tonight to see if my buddy can get his twin turbo 95 lightning in the 9s on a stock trans and rear end, and to run my 08 F250. All I need is for my turbo to show up so I can start building the up piping.

Headers are complete! I bolted the warped one down and put the heat to it a few times and straitened it out a good bit. I'm going to try them on the motor before I have them machined to see if they leak. Besides that I'm pretty happy with them. It took about $700 and 20-25 hours to build these. Still waiting on my turbo to show up so I can move forward.
But I got a call today about another job I have to start Monday. So it will be another three 84 hour weeks of nights that will delay this project more. The bonus to this job will be per-dim and double time... cha-ching

Still waiting for the turbo, I'm hoping my turbo is in the batch that Dr. Turbo recieved Friday from Garrett. I could have finished my cam swap and order/mounted a vertical radiator but I have been sick/lazy the past two weeks.
I went to the track Saturday and watched a few friends run and really got the itch again to go racing, watching about 10 people fail to represent 4th gens add more fuel to the fire. I am always dissappoint when I see LS1's running 13's and 14's, especially when modded.

Well I finally made a little progress a few weekends ago. But have been dead in the water do to working 84hrs a week. My goal was going to be complete by Tx2k11 on March 19th but that's looks like a long shot.
First thing I did was cut out the core support and box it in for the vertical radiator.
Then I started thinking where and how I was going to mount the turbo. I decided to build a mount off of the water pump that didn't have to be fed through the belt to work. Encase I break another belt which started the whole project. I got some supplies from a turnaround were we re-tubed 3 headers and used those 6" u-bolts to hold the tubes on supports. That plate is a orifice plate (flow restrictor) that we replaced with a new one, it just happen to be 304ss.
It was bad weather the next day and then I have been working since so this is my hold point. I'm going to double up the u-bolts on both sides of the water pump then come up and over the bell. Then use the tubing to join the two together. Then use the rest of the plate to sandwich the tabs on my flange.
This also showed up, it rang in at a even 52lbs.
