I have hit a snag in my build, i have the option of building a 383 with an F1A or a 347 with the F1A, i will be using AFR225's 72cc chambers on both setups, planning on running around 18-22 lbs any and all help is appeciated

I'd go with the 383 as you'll add torque to the engine. There are plenty of LS engines out there with 4.00 stroker cranks that don't show any accelerated bore wear. Bob

The max bore possible is 3.910, and plenty of guys rock a 3.905 bore so I think you should be fine. I gotta say, I wouldn't plan on running 22 lbs of boost with that blower though, I think you'll find 18 or lower will be PLENTY, especially if its a street car. Ask Bob to show you the graph oh the LS2 402 AFR 225 F-1A Procharged Cadillac CTS-V. It made 856 rwhp with (I THINK 14, pretty sure that was it, could be wrong) PSI. Now imagine 18. Now imagine 22.

12.4 psi. Thanks. Bob
