Default stock tb on turbo setup

Doin a lq4 s400 build goin with the victor Jr intake I'm goin to have a sheet metal elbow made want to know if running the stock ls1 th would be ok I'm goin to have it port in the future what do u guys think....

Running a stock truck tb on mine, vic jr, sheetmetal elbow, 600rwhp. you will be fine. Its not as important with FI.

There was a thread a while back on this very topic. Kurt Urban said the 78mm throttlebody is good to over 1k.

if you are going through all the trouble and expense of buying the victor jr. and having an elbow made for it, i dont see why not set it up for a 4 bolt flange and at least use a cable ls2 throttle body.


that being said im still on the stock tb and ls6 intake.
