Default how amazing will this cam be for a twin turbo 5.3?

Goal is peak power around 6800rpms, shift point is 7200 rpms.

Cam is a 232.3/233.8, .612/.598 111+2
323 cid with stock 862 heads and performance valvesprings
Stock compression of 9.4. E85 fuel, water methanol inection, non intercooled.

Twin t70 turbos .68ar
Car weight is 2900lbs

So, I'm curious what you all think this engine will make NA, and how that cam will work under boost

Somehow, I doubt that backpressure will be an issue : )

You will need a lot of converter, it will be happy from 5500-7000 with those turbos.

I would put atleast a 10* split to the exh on that cam with a little more more LSA. The intake will likely determine peak power.

The vic jr will likely peak right at or just over 7K. The cam is big enough for a 5.3 to build power to the 7K mark IMO. You're definitely going to want plenty of stall for this setup. I'd say about 4800-5200 RPM. Those turbos are T4's right?

hmm. thats good news. the 5.3 with two t70s(t4) is right in the perfect middle of the efficiency island at 7000rpms, so that should be ideal.

the torque converter is built to stall at 3500rpms but the guys are not too far away from me and dont charge a lot to restall.

Im using 4.86 gears on a 31" tire so it should rev pretty quickly

Im hoping it will be happy from like 4500 on up. on the 2jz(2.6 litres) with one t70, spool starts around 4000rpms.

you're gonna wanna change the gear eventually. somewhere in the 3.90 range would be ideal for that tire size.
