I went over this page a time or two seeing if I missed anything. I remember seeing the build earlier but all the articles kept saying twins. Lane is a lucky man.

First off glad he is ok!!! but soon the rules will be that of ECTA they have great rules for the safety of the driver.. and 210 is not slow enough for the rules to be changed anything over 190 is more like it... I dont wanna see a death to get the rules to where they should be!!! say hello to 2 inch DOM Nascar style cage's or 25.3 sfi to run that fast.. car was a sweet ride def cool to see it

We want to a take a moment to tell everyone that the minimum safety rules are there for a reason. If you're going over 210mph, you really need a full cage which is more than the rules require. We are working with the TEXAS Mile people to start a new group of rules for the faster cars. Our safety equipment worked as planned, but our driver was very lucky still.

We'll see you guys at another one mile event soon. [/QUOTE]

i really agree. i didnt know there was much of a difference between 200 on the strip VS 200 on an un prepped, un swept, road with no barriers...

like i said before, attempting to go that fast with only a 6 point is irresponsible, regardless of what the owner wants.
