What would make you choose the F1A over your current F1R or even an F1C?

Nice build Bigrob339! Can't wait to see your results. I think you should be ok on the ls2 block, I have seen plenty of guys running them with no problems. On the other hand you can't beat the price and strength of an iron block.

That Ls2 block wont be a problem. The ohio boys used to run LS2 blocks in their cars so I think she'll be plenty strong. Theres a bunch of guys around 1K rwhp running them.

I think I am leaning towards the LME 370 with callies forged internals for a couple reasons with the main reason being cost but also i am not too concerned with the weight factor. The intercooler is a 31x12x4 its from CXracing its the one alot of people on here are using.

What are they 30's or 35' series tires? I have the same size wheels just want to get the right tires, going with nitto invos too. Were they "ok" on the street? Oh and...

Very nice project! F1A

Because I had nothing but belt issues trying to run an 8 rib belt with a F1R...now I have a cogged setup on it. I didn't have any problems with the F1A and it made great power.

What brakes are you running on your car that require a large offset; it looks like the Cadillac V brakes. Have you decided for sure on a 370ci ?

Well after a little stand still in the process of the build my buddy Nate and I made some progress. I have the motor on order from LME and should be here I am hoping within 3-4 weeks. Decided on 370 with callies crank and callies I beam rods with weisco piston built to 9.5 to 1.

Well we got the car moved from my garage and over to Nates started working on it instantly.... Now were just deciding on what to do with the radiator and blower inlet....also doing the wire mod....then off to paint. Here are a few pics I took with my cell phone....will get more pics as we finally are on our way now.

Stayed tune....should have more this week!

Nice man! Keep us updated. I'm at a standstill as well at the moment. I'll get on it after the holidays hopefully.

This is going to be one fast ride Rob! You're in good hands with who is helping you. Is Steve going to be doing the tuning? Bob
