Nice man. Hopefully during the next week I can get a little caught up. Your block is iron right? If it is what are you doing for your bracket mounting points?

That only gives 2 mounting points directly to the block and 1 more with the Alt L bracket by the driver side head. I don't think that'll be sufficient enough for your power level, hence why I'm doing my "custom" work lol.

Yea I'd give them a call if I was you. I think for the power level were looking at we need to have every mounting point available used.

Just spoke with Bryan at LME.... They drill and tap the hole need for the bracket.... I asked him about that 3rd bolt hole for the alternator bracket and he said he feels that 2 is plenty strong enough and said he doesnt for see a problem and that people have been doing it for some time now. So I will take his advice...... But may look into doing something once I get the motor in my hands it all depends

I would do all 3 just to be safe. Thats just me tho. Better to do it the first time with the motor outside of the car!

True..... Ill have to look at it when I get the motor. I have a fabricator here that could possibly do something about making the 3 mounting point but will have to wait and see once I get the motor in my hands. Wont have any updates really untill after X-Mas.

Ok. Well shoot me a PM and maybe he could contact me. I wouldn't mind telling him what we have done so far and what our game plan is. Maybe he can build you something similar. I just wanted to make sure I had as many points of contact as possible to increase the strength. Let me know what you want to do.

Well I havent used it yet so I can't speak for that aspect of the bracket. It looks to be a quality bracket from just looking at it along with the pulley's that he has made for it. Ill know more once I get this car up and running.

I like the blower hat! That F1 is surely gonna like that! I wanna stand my damn radiator up too. I put this Be Cool radiator in and there is like NO room between it and the blower hat now. Is there anyway you could dyno it with the stock hat and then the 4" one? Be nice to finally see some actual results! What size primary headers are you gonna use?

On other builds I have seen a 80 horsepower increase with the hat off completely. He doesn't have a procharger hat because at the start of this build I know we wouldn't be using it.

Its more than just moving the radiator up its actually moved forward away from the motor and down some. To clear that large of a inlet pipe ( 4" ) we couldn't just stand the radiator up.

His headers are kooks 1 7/8" I would like to build a custom y-pipe but thats still up in the air. That might be an after thought if the back pressure is too high

Ok, I was wondering why yall removed the radiator support and now I know! haha. Definitely make the exhaust to where it flows REALLY good (which im sure you already know). I gained 70rwhp by opening my cutout, but I have 1 3/4 headers which are too damn small.
