We have a track out here that is the same way. The more they know you the more you can get away with. I say let th350 have it, its held up so far. Goota love those singal digit street cars!!! Good luck!!

Transmission survived.Nothing spectacular to report. I was having other issues. Best 2 passes were a 9.0@152 w/ 1.33 60' and a 9.0@151 w/ 1.30 60'.

i agree that street cars dont have cages however im not against at least a 4 point hoop. done right they are hard to see from the out side and at least offer a little protection.

After the 9.0 passes (4th and 5th), I started trying to crank up the power. It started bleeding boost, not exhaust pressure. It sounded like my BOV cracking open and shutting 2 times during the pass.

I went to make another pass to see if it happened again and that's when I noticed that I may have spun a bearing. The car seems to be down 5-6 psi of oil pressure at idle. That's when I decided to throw in the towel and self medicate.

Damn man that sucks. Hopefully it isnt anything major. Are you going to try and have it ready for dead hookers in december?
