i think we narrowed down the issue to back pressure. the 5inch dump up front is just not allowing the turbo to fully spool until close to 5k rpms.
so we are currently trying to somehow find a way to put a muffler on the downpipe. Any suggestions?

This thread makes me laugh. I love this pro tuner that is running 21* of timing and 15#s of boost on a stock block.

What kinds of cars has this guy tuned? The import world is alot different than the fbody. Theres a few good honda tuners that I wont let touch my car.

have you tried putting a back pressure guage in the o2 bung and seeing what it actually is??

Any restriction added after the exh housing will slow spool, not increase it.

then why is the turbo not spooling @16# until like 5k? keep in mind this is a 6spd car and doesnt have the load of a th400 or anything to help spooling.

I dont think he has actually hooked a gauge up to the bung.

Can you post a graph of the dyno pull vs RPM or even a log of a full 4th or even 3rd gear pull showing RPM and MAP or boost?

I'm starting to think that 5K RPM isn't all that late for full spool after seeing one of my logs. My car is up in 6K RPM land pretty much the entire run. This is the kind of thing that I would like to see.

ill get the dyno sheet today. we found out the wastegate was leaking as welll today this could be the problem all along.... ill keep u guys updated imma throw a new one on to see what that does

anyways the wastegate was bad and leaking like a ****. overnighting one and should be good to go by this weekend.

Yes, WS6 M6/PT88/Iron 346 gives so many details it's just staggering. Post the tune file, dyno charts, scanner logs, or something to give us information otherwise you have given literally nothing that can aid anybody with a diagnosis. On top of that anytime anybody asks for anything like this you get snippy so I figure there can't be anybody who really acts like this and isn't trolling.

everytime i asked something, he came back w another problem lol. never an answer.

lol low dyno numbers with leaking gate and still seeing 16psi? You might spool faster but at the same psi I believe you won't make anymore power than what you have, If nothing changes besides the gate. and the backpressure issue you brought up was funny. 346 pt88 and backpressure. you crack me up.
