@Supercatxr7, Look at what you started!

Hey guys, it's not that serious. We're supposed to be cheering Supercat on. He has what has to be the fastest LS4 powered car in the world. It's a tremendous accomplishment. Way to go Supercat!

Talking

Just wanted to post the build and what it has done so far. Continue the torque steer war if you like, my car goes down the track straight.

Good work Mark. You think you can hit 10s before the tracks close? Good luck with it.

Go supercat. Your Monte is the Monte that I want, my neighbor had one for a year and I drooled over it all the time. White and that year.

I stand by what I said. Going straight can always be fixed, turning can't.

right, because when im driving my Camaro and I turn and press the gas, it always turns! Dude, torque is applied to the drive wheels, in this case they are the fronts. when you turn the wheel it still applies the power to those wheels, no matter what direction theyre pointed. Hydrosteam6's description is correct, thats understeer, thats what f and y bodys get right before we start "drifting" LOL

Now please educate yourself next time, preferably before you post.

Here is a good example of severe torque steer. Check out the steering wheel on this 8.50 Honda.

I sure hope so! Tracks around here close in the next few weeks and with the much colder weather coming I'm not sure if traction will be all that great. If not, I'll have to wait until spring.

Cool! I remember when my 3.8 Grand Prix was punching out those times and remember the feeling I got the first time I made a low 11sec pass!

Good Job!
