I'd say you have just a little more room in there than in an f-body. Looks good

I would put it right before the turbine where the two crossover tubes merge, it will help keep exhaust pressure equal on each exhaust bank.

Do you think if I got a jgs 50mm gate and mounted it straight up where the two banks merge would I have any problems controlling the boost? I know its not the optimal place to mount it but it would be the easiest.

first, Very nice tubing setup.

second, use that merge area. there is plenty of room for a 1.5-1.75" piece of tubing to go there. plenty of room

That will be fine, and make for easy wastegate access

If you mean on the top side of the merge, sure. I would angle the top of the gate towards the turbo for better flow into the gate, also it will be real easy to dump the gate outlet right into the downpipe, if that's the route you want to go.

yes I want to put it on the top side of the merge but I dont think I will have enough room to angle it against the turbo. It would pretty much have to be straight up and down. And yes it would be real easy to dump the gate into the down pipe thats another reason I would like to mount it this way. I only want to run 7-9 lbs of boost. Im just worried Ill have a hard time controlling the boost with It straight up and not angled.
