I have TFS 235 cnc 6-bolt. Camshaft is a hydraulic 248/252 with 0.622 lift and 115 lobe.
LSX block with Callis compstar crank and rods. Wiseco shelf pistons. Regular ARP studs with our new cooperring gaskets.

DTS dyno.
1505 ft/lbs but i don´t boost full until 6000 rpm because i don´t want to hurt the engine. It still has 1000 hp at 4700 rpm with 13 psi.

Shelf stock, pistons, rods and crank almost made it to 2000hp, impressive.

Wow. lol When you had the compstar rods listed above I had a feeling that would be your first weak link. You should do some custom pistons with thermal coating on all sides with the alum rods while you have it apart.

You are close to the end of that dyno being able to read your engine. At 1600ft lbs the dyno will flatline torque as the load cell will be pinned. If you want to fix it: Move the load cell from 8 inches on center to 12 inches by building a 4 inch spacer for the lower mount. The upper mount that attaches to the brake will need to be extended also, I normally build V shaped extensions that weld on and re drill the mount point in a mill to hold your centerline difference. After that just hang your weights and re cal the computer. After this change I was able to read 2400ft lbs before the brake steamed, letting the engine go! Nice job, should make the car fly!

Do you have a picture of the head gasket?
What water pump are you using?
Is that cylinder 5 or 6?

Do you have a picture that shows the gasket from the spark plug side? Do you have any coolant holes on the lower side of the block in the gasket?

How did the compstar crank hold up any signs of damage to it? I am glad I went with the tougher H-I beams they are a lot thicker.

Damn, that didn't take long. Glad you caught it early. Interesting HG, is there not any machining on the deck of the block or cylinder head with that?
