I noticed that the gasket does not go around the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock bolt holes. Is there an issue when clamping the head down with this?

Will you have more of these gaskets with all the bolt holes included?

Thanks,
Glenn

I layied small parts of a gasket around those studs. We only have 4-bolt gaskets and they are so f...ing expensive to make a tool for 6-bolt. But we will see if we can take the cost to make 6-bolts now when i know they handle 2000 hp.

Is this the same sort of pyramid ring setup you used to run on the 370 or something new that's evolved off of that?

It's great to see another HYDRAULIC ROLLER cammed engine with TFS 235's making almost 2000 hp, CONGRATS!

BTW, which rods are you going with?

Stock size studs. It´s our own developed gasket.

Now it will be upgraded with this:

Dragonslayer 3.825" crank
GRP 6.2" rods
Diamond custom pistons
Solid roller camshaft
300 lbs valve springs

Wow that will be on hell of a setup. I guess you are shooting for that 2000 hp marker or more. Is that why you changed out the crank?

I think it will be a lot less piston wear with shorter stroke and longer rod.
And i will rev up to 8000 rpm now..

I understand and at that kind of rpm a dragonslayer crank would be better than the compstar. Sweet I hope you post a vid of that think running up that high in the rpm range. I love hearing the sound of a V8 running at 8000 rpm it is just mean sounding.

There where nothing wrong with the compstar. All bearings looked perfect even after 1550 ft/lbs and 1900 hp several dyno runs.

There is machine work to run those gaskets, you must groove the blocks deck just like an oring setup to get the pyramid ring to set recessed in the block.
