I came home for one day on Tuesday and was able to do a little bit of work before having to leave for another 5 weeks. So far here's a few pics of the latest...
This is the hole I cut in the bed for the filler neck, It's a little off center and needs some tweeking before I can put a cap on it.
I did my one man show again when putting the bed back on, I have this procedure down to a science!
I put the front fender back on and bolted in the coolant tank, also took some pictures (sorry they are phone pics) of what the engine bay is starting to look like with all the plumbing close to being done. I ended up putting a second layer of ceramic coating on the DP and made it black. It used to be chrome, but now, with the way it is, all the hot parts are black ceramic coated and the entire cold side is chrome ceramic coated.
Starting to look like a truck again...
Exhaust tip on the passenger side, I have painter's tape on it at the moment but it's black inside and out.

Also got the truck in it's first Magazine Article!!

Well...Truck is done!
Myself and two buddies spend 3 days straight working on it in the hopes of making it to a magazine competition on Friday. I got the truck off the dyno Friday morning at 3am, and even though there was alot wrong with the truck, it was in good enough condition to be able to take it to the competition and put on a respectable showing.
Short story is I basically kept the truck in 2nd gear most of the day, set the rev limiter at 4500 and kept the boost to 6psi. That really didn't provide me with much but out of 9 trucks I came in 5th, even though I skipped one of the events.
Here's a few shots of the event...

Thanks, it's been a lot of fun and a curse at the same time but I'm happy to have it done. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get it up to 800rwhp which is where I'm shooting for for the time being.

But I do have a video of a start up and idle, and in the video I show the engine bay and you can see it for a second or so, it's a hard plastic plug/cap that I found at Autozone or Pepboys that's got oil writting on top of it. I bought about a half dozen plug/caps and that particular one ended up being the only one that fit.

If you really need more info just let me know and I'll go snap a pic of it.
Thanks, I actually just got back from a photoshoot for a potential cover or Truckin' Magazine. I can't wait to see it, should look awesome!!

Well, I made the Cover of Truckin Magazine for the Month of August/September. I'll dig around and see if I can't get any pics later. Truck is finally getting tuned professionally. Hopefully should have it back sometime next week and I'll hopefully have some vids of it in action!
