Default i'm going to set my car on fire

car is a 2001 ss
stock motor
moser 12 bolt with 3.73's
monster stage 4 clutch
D1sc 8-9psi
headers, high flow cats single 3" exhaust
according to the truck scales at a local truck stop 39xxlb race weight
(tons of other stuff done to car but thats all the stuff for power)
does have the baer big brakes all the way around
car is a heavy f'n pig and is set up for twisties not drag racing

so made my first trip to the dragstrip with a 6 speed ever
first pass out
1.76 60' 12.1 at 115
but the majority of the night looked like this
1.67 60' 12.2-12.3 at 111-113

now I have ran a lot on the street and I have seen other vehicles I have beaten on the street at the track, one of them ran 11.7 with a worse 60' than me, another ran a 11.8 at 116 or 118 so I am confused.

any suggestions before I set it on fire?

Man that trap speed seems really low. I would definitely hook up with a tuner and see what is going on. I'm only boltons and trap 113-114mph

what time is the fire scheduled for? I'll be there with a couple fire extinguishers & a tow truck!!! lol

nah really man, definilty have tune checked, see if ecm reading a knock and pulling timing or something. with the charger and other mods u should def be in the 11.50 & 119-121mph area.

Does the car still make the same boost? Any signs of belt slip?

well thinking back I only watched the boost gauge one run last night for a split second, as it was first trip to the track and I was more involved with driving.
and this morning I found the coupler off the box....SO now I feel retarded for not seeing that last night

Let us know how it does. Have someone ride along and look at the boost gauge.

so it held 8psi in 2nd and 3rd but in 4th went to 6-7 and I do have a lil belt squeal that you can't hear unless there is a car next to you (if that makes any sense) you just cant seem to hear it when flying down track with windows up

It should make more boost with rpm, if it has 6 psi at 5000 rpm it should have more at 6000. Is it a stick? maybe you didnt get the rpms up enough in 4th to see the full boost. Is the car tuned with a maf or speed density?
