Sounds like a promising setup. You definitely picked the right engine builder ; ). Only change I would make is to go Magnafuel pump(s) instead of weldon. I'm also running a Shawn built motor + F2. Should have some #s soon.

Wow, what a setup! How many other LS motors are there out there running any of the F3 series blower? What is the record currently, somewhere in the 8:20's range? Goodluck with the build.

Why not a weldon? Magnafuel definitely top notch also.

If you do a thorough research on Weldon you will find many overheating issues and failures not to mention they are very LOUD! Magnafuel runs quiet, flows plenty of fuel, does not overheat, and can even be run on the street with no issues. I have found no reports of failures with the Magnafuels.

Didn't you just recently finish an engine build? Why the quick turn around?

I know if you do alot of street driving on a weldon with out there recommend controler it will burn up the pump. This build wont see too much street driving. We should be fine with the Weldon.

I am getting close to running one that is close to what you are building. That should run great in that car and IRS record will be yours at half throttle!!

With that much power you wouldn't need a three speed, go with the ECS power glide.
