Thats how I did my fuel lines the last time around, I liked having the fuel lines under the intake, I wanted to add a quick disconnects so it could disconnect from the chassis like an air fitting. Looks great.

Thanks guys!
S2VYSS, The fuel filter under the intake is just a packaging thing, trying to make the install in the car as simple as possible.
Last, My room always seems cluttered to me! Can't seem to keep the bench tops clear....
Venow, Where are you located?
2001, This will be very loud I'm sure!!

No engine dyno work?

That would have to be disappointing after all that fabrication.

The alt is mounted, now it's off to the dyno to burn some fuel!
Shawn, my bucket list has that trip on it, not sure if the time will ever be right!

I like the Jones Racing stuff. They esp. have some nice alt mounting pieces. Any reason for choosing their product over others?
Do you use their stuff often?
Is that a custom mount or did you incorporate one of theirs?
Looks good, cant wait for results!

I buy all of my drive pullies from Jones and he makes some parts for me that I need, great guys.
All the brackets on this engine are hand made, the alt and cog pullies are from Jones.

It is on the dyno now, just warmed it up and burned a couple gallons of gas. Valve lash in the morning and more run time.

I ended up only making it to 7500 rpm before I ran out of fuel! I only brought 15 gallons of fuel and this thing eats it! With the 1600hp gear set it made 1630 @ 7500 rpm. It was still climbing, but when I went for 8000 rpm it started fluttering and we aborted. The fuel cell was down under 1 gallon and it just would not stay stable with the fuel that low. It looks like the fuel returns agitate the fuel in the cell when it gets that low. So now we get the oil filter cut open, head re torque and gear set changed. Next time I will bring more fuel!

Kurt
