Should I switch from OL-SD to CL-SD?

Currently im running open loop speed density with HP tuners and now that the whole turbo kit is apart I have the chance to weld in bungs on the cross over. Do you guys think im better off saying open loop or would I benifit from running closed loop?(I do daily drive and the car was fine all summer--just had to tune it a lot)

I went from closed loop to open loop strictly because i like the fueling to do what i want it too

once my low load was tuned well it stayed very consistent day to day AFR wise

The only issue I have is I have 83lbs injectors so the VE error tuning is incorrect. If it says its 7% low and I add even just 3.5% it ends up going to 4+% over so I have to use very small increments.

yeah go ahead and put em in. I always tune in open loop (of course) and picked up a ton of MPG by going back into closed after a couple months. Its nice being able to use fuel trims, and moreso, idle trims

if i remember right, you can limit the amount of trim it will use. Otherwise if you just have cheap injectors they will never work that good, you can do 100-120lb hig imp injectors in closed loop if they are a quality piece

I used OL with short term trims enabled. Best of both worlds in my opinion. WOT fueling does what I command (no LTFTs), but cruising allows for STFTs to help with mpg.
