3300ish. As for what was left on the table I dunno. It was all done via a diffrent owner.

I am looking to free up some flow too as i will be upping the boost and it spools almost too fast with the 1.15 and auto anyway

there was a 1.32 and 1.52 available at one time, but can't source one now

anyway, Justin at comp can fit up a 1.32 for a couple hundered bucks

thanks Josh
One thing helping it pull that high because at 8-10psi you are bypassing a good amount of exhaust past the turbine thru the wastegate. Pretty good idea really prob spools good and pulls up high too.

yes would be great to see documented real world results.

So I'm almost 1000lbs heavier and going 4-5mph slower. Probably making similar power, if anything I might be making a touch more. I think I'm just pushing this turbo to its max.

I fully support this!!

Josh, thanks for the advice regarding the TC76... For a 99% street car, 3200lbs, stock LQ4, would you say .96 undivided or 1.15 divided? Is there such thing as a 1.15 undivided?

Cheers,
joe

for a 99% street car with T56 and stock bottom end i would be leaning towards the .96 ar , because you won't be running high boost, back pressure won't be such a problem, and with a M6 the quicker the spool between shifts the better.

If you have intentions of forgeing the engine down the track and cranking up the boost, go the 1.15

if you haven't already bought the turbo get the tc78....

Sweet thanks for the reply.

I have the TC76 already with a divided 1.15, was going to trade for a .96 with someone on this forum.

Looking for a reliable 500rwhp thru a T56...

Here's a question. What flows better...96 undivided or 115 divided?

The 1.15 divided will outflow the .96 undivided. I went from a .96 to a 1.15 on my TC76 and picked up 50 rwhp.

Interesting. I was told otherwise by a forum vendor, which I found hard to believe. Good to know, thanks.

i was told a devided housing flows around 10% less than the equivelent size open housing.

so a .96 open housing would be same as a 1.056 devided housing.

If you're wanting RPM I'd go with the 1.15 and knife edge the divider. I don't think it's going to pull to 7K with the WG closed but might get you to 65 with 346 CI. I rode in a 5.4L mustang with one and it spooled pretty good.

2600lbs here and I went 154mph on 18lbs, that is a stock shortblock 5.3 and stock heads also. I'm putting that combo in a heavy 4 door car to make daily driver next year and will probably be switching to the 1.15 AR to see what it will make. It made 686rwhp this year thru the stalled auto, 9" and 33" tires. I'd like to see ~715rwhp on the new ride on 18lbs through the stalled auto and 8.8 with smaller tires if I can get the new housing.

What is the most anyone has put down with the TC78?

I did 675whp with my current setup. Can't wait to see the increase with a 1.52 ar housing and possibly a larger dp. I'm keeping everything else the same except the rear gear.

Quick Reply: Tc78 with 1.15 ar vs pt88?
