oh, ok.. im not going to run knock sensors, so i called a place that makes the valley cover that doesnt have the holes of coarse, so thats why i was wondering how u did it. They asked me if i wanted the bungs welded in for extra venting and i didnt know as i have never heard of anyone doing it., im assuming it should work with the VR Jr.

Went out tonight for 1/8 mile test and tune. Still leaving soft on the footbrake with no boost from the line went 6.42@120. Im not really up on the conversion stuff but from my research that is around a 10.08 1/4mile but the mph should be done in 8's?

I know they say to multiply your mph by 25% to achieve your 1/4 mile mph so it should of been 150s

60ft best was still a 1.9

This week Ill spend sometime and get the trans brake hooked up and 2 step and see if I cant launch the car this next weekend during some 1/4mile test and tune action.

Nice!

Id guess low 9's and 150-155 with a 1.5 60ft. Maybe high 8's if you can get it to 60 a 1.35-1.4.

120mph in eighth should be around 5.8 when you get the launch figured out.

how much does your nova weigh?

No clue on weight I need to get it to a scale. I'd love to get the car figured out and see it get into the mid 8s@160s

I figured with a little more boost and a 1.3-1.4 60' the could pickup 10-12 mph and shave an easy 1.5-2 seconds

no spinning at all. Im going to step the 2 step to 3400-3600 and leave on the brake sunday. I will tighten up the front shocks and set the rears to about 5-6 and see what it does.

Get my glory pass in for the year before the track closes...as long as the weather is good.

Well last night I went ahead and wired up the trans brake and the 2 step, I set it to 3400 and this morning went out and switched it on and built 5lbs with ease on the wastegate spring with no c02. I released it and of course it blew the tires off but it was cool to see it work and I am looking forward to this sunday if weather holds to get it into the 9s.

Spent a couple bucks today and stepped it up to some afco double adjustable to get rid of my 3 ways out back. Gonna install them tomorrow, they are just so beautiful. Currently saving my pennies and nickles to do the same upfront. Changing to afco double adjustable bnc shocks and going back to a coil spring.

Went to National Trails today and only got two passes in, the first one somehow my throttle body boot popped off and it was over. The 2nd and last run I brought the 2 step in with the transbrake and left around 4-5lbs of boost. The car instantly blew the tires off and slid sideways for the first 100-120 ft then I peddled it to a 9.80@145. I am mounting these afcos this week and going to go back next week. No video becuase my damn sd card was full on the gopro

here is the slip

hope to get the car to 60ft around 1.2-1.3 and bring the boost in without slipping around to get an 8 sec pass before the year is out...
