Default Passenger Side Procharger

Has anyone ever mounted a P1SC/D1SC/F1A/F1C/F1R Procharger on the driver's side of the engine?

I'm asking, because I have no A/C, so it seems that the headunit would fit great there. I would want to have it mounted on the other side of the belt, so no modification to the radiator fans had to be done.

I know a custom bracket & tensioner setup would have to be fabricated, but in all reality, it's possible, right?

The GTOs and Corvette kits are high mounted...I was talking about low mounting it, like the F-body Kit, but on the other side of the motor (still low mounted).

I suppose it would be possible, but would the effort be worth it? Bob

I Believe PSJ had a low mounted Vortech YSi on the left side of the car, US drivers side.

I believe he is looking to do it on the passenger (right side) side. The lower driver side is where ProCharger mounts it on the f body. Bob

If you have no A/C there will be plenty of room in the traditional ProCharger placement.

The only real benefit I could forsee is the additional clearance for the procharger inlet hat/filter. On the drivers side low mount kit (f-Body Kit) there isn't any real good way to add a better free flowing piece in there without moddifying the lower radiator core support or without losing AC. Just my .02, but this would be a nice setup if there was a bolt on kit available. As for all the hassle of making it work, IDK if I'd be willing to figure it out. lol

GL OP if you do decide to try this setup somehow!
