Posting My Progress...or not.
I think from now on (or at least for a while) I will leave my posts off this board. I'll continue to update the website with details as I see fit. If someone has questions, all they have to do is call or email me. I will also use this "away time" to decide whether or not we will continue to sell turbo systems at all. As I said in an earlier post, selling ProCharger's is MUCH easier, and a lot more profitable.
This way, maybe I can get some sleep.
I would like to thank the large number of you that have continued to support us. Your posts and emails of encouragement meant a lot.
U have one of the best turbo kits out there..... Don't stop making them. 35rwhp per psi is damn good in my scale and any other tuner. Keep the good work.
Oh before u take ur time off.... answer the questions in the other thread LOL
Can you please post a link to where you will be posting your progress so that I can continue to follow? Thanks.
Thanks,
Charlie.
This would be a huge loss for the LSx Turbo development. Rob you are a competetive person by nature, that is why you take criticism so personally. It is probably also what has given you the reputation as one of the top two LSx turbo tuners currently out there. To be honest I don't think there is a whole lot of criticism of you work at all. Your decision to not sell your systems as a kit was a step in the right direction. IMO you have gained more respect by what you are doing/have done than you even realize. People used to swear that a stock LS1 couldn't handle more than 500 rwhp for long with FI. You have proven that wrong. It does probably make sense from a business standpoint to only sell prochargers, but any monkey tuner out there can bolt on a procharger and pull 450 rwhp out of these cars. What you are doing is amazing. If you aren't enjoying building crazy turbo kits then you probably shouldn't do it. If it is more stress than it is worth then take a break for a while. There is no other tuner out there currently besides LPE that has a rep like you. LPE doesn't sell their turbo systems as a kit and now you know why. If you can keep showing everyone what your systems can do, people will buy them. I know there are a lot of people on CF that are watching your C5TT kit very closely.
I sincerely hope you continue to post your results and be accessible on this board. You just need to learn when people are just trying to provoke you and let your products speak for themselves. .02c

You're well appreciated, by too many to list, that do post here. The painful fact is that the arrogant, ignorant and prideful individuals get the biggest press on a board like this and LS1.****. Too bad because this board is about the last one left that hasn't yet turned into a 20-something, pot-shot, free-for-all.
Remember to let your friends know what's going on with you, your family, and your shop... Some of them haven't heard from you in a while.

It great what you do. Peolple are always going to be skeptical, especially if you are proving all the nay-sayers wrong. Just keep plugging away and don't take the criticism defensively. Look at the comments as suggestions and comliment those that are critical for their inputs. I know this is tough at times, but it goes a lot farther in business than lashing back and getting defensive.Off my hypocritical soap-box now
It's not like I'm going to stop posting over here all together. Just about the specifics of our Project Car developments. And again, I'll still keep them updated on our website. I just think maybe I'd rather show up at the track and answer questions in person if/when we make an impressive run. A lot less likely that arguments will break out there.
The more I think about it, if I had posted my results here, others who were making 650-750rwhp may have been content. Now I'm sure they are all gunning for us. I think I'd rather Shock and Awe 'em at the track.
Yep...I think we'll call it "Top Secret Formula" from now on....
Well, I don't have a turbo LS1. In fact, I don't even have an LS1 anymore (since I totaled my 98 TA), but ... Being an ex-TTA owner and wrencher, I find your posts very interesting.
Keep us updated ... Great reading!
Ron,
I have found myself getting pretty upset as people have responded to my posts (not on this board, but on some others, and this is just a hobby for me). I let it get under my skin for a bit and then I realized that it is just the nature of the medium and you have to learn to read between the lines.
The same people that probably irritate you on the board might be the ones you like the most in person. Things just come across wrong in words alone and you don't get to see the body language part of the communication. It's so easy for people to bash you when they are hiding behind a keyboard.
There is even an article about this in the first few pages of the March issue of HotRod.
Anyway, I think boards like this have more positives than negatives and you just have to ignore the negative BS.
TT for your C5? Ready when you are...
We can talk about that tomorrow too. I have said it more that once that you are the best there is on these boards when it comes to turbos. There is no one that I know of, that has done so much testing and informing us of the testing. I didn't want a turbo didn't even let it cross my mind until, you posted the first #'s from Shawn's car. From that day forward I have been telling everyone I know that this is the way I will be going in the future. I even keep copys of the you turbo webpage in my truck and car to show people. You are the turbo king in my eyes and when I get done building up my drivetrian and Suspension You and only You will get a car pulling up in your shop with NC tags ready for a turbo.
Sincerely,
Kevin
The majority of us love your post and yes we like reading some of the arguments as well, but NO ONE CAN DENY YOU HAVE A AWESOME TURBO SETUP.. Keep posting..
