FI question
A while ago i visited one of the local tuning shops in the Omaha NE area because a friend of mine got hired there. We got to talking and he brought out his expert at the shop and we were talking about turbo vs supercharging. He made a very compelling argument saying that turbos are hands down better because they can achieve more boost, reach full boost faster and more efficiently, and that high psi superchargers have many belt slippage issues. Anyway, i recently stumbled across an article that said roots/twin screw type s/cs reach their full boost pressure at low rpm and sustain it throughout. Also that belt slippage has been nearly eliminated. So Im wondering if they are just bias there or maybe he was only thinking of centrifugal s/cs. I love the wine of a supercharger and am also asking you all if it would be better to use an aps turbo on my camaro or the whipple s/c to make between 700-850 rwhp?
The End haha
im thinking of taking a 6.0 ls2 block and boring it to fit a set of ls9 pistons. and use ls9 cam then port and polish my ls1 heads and finish with 1.8 rockers
