I am not too far of from you weight wise. With me in it and 3/4 tank of gas was 5300 lbs roughly. My truck has leather heated seats, NAV stereo, DVD headrests sunroof, etc. not much weight reduction in the plan either. Its still my DD.
Honestly we are not sure what this will make. The kit Louis is working was going to use MHI 20g's but he decided to drop that and we are starting off with the 6262's to see where it will take us and then go from there. My goal when this build is done is to be around 600+ (AWD) or trap in the 1/4 at around 130. Plenty of guys making killer power with these though, and I plan on running 8-10 lbs on the street and 12-14 at the track.
My 4L70E transmission is the best we can get form FLT. But I am in the works of upgrading to a 4L80E, I already have the crossmember on order and the hardware for the swap (Custom kit from a non-sponser). I am just waiting on someone to by my FLT Level 7 4L70E and YANK 3200 so I can get the 4L80E built.
