In theory it has to. Say you're driving your car an hour to the dragstrip, all of that compressed air is being routed through the intercooler as you're driving down the highway. I've never done and testing on the inlet air temps with a bypass valve being located before and after the intercooler, but it would make for an interesting test. A cool down though once you get to the track would lower the inlet air temps and you'd be good to go. Bob
