I'm looking at a package deal Acceleronics has with (8) Lucas 120lb low Z injectors and Versafueler driver box for $649. I don't mind adding a driver box unless there is a good reason i shouldn't run one. Thats the best deal i was able to find, anyone know of any other deals?

In other words, crank it up until it pushes water or breaks. Then back it off 1 or 2 pounds. lol

Stock LS1 block, I'd stop at 10psi if I was running meth or E85. 8psi on gas. With stock block LS1s, the ring lands usually give up before you lift a head, or at the same time.
Now if you're talking stock block as in an LQ4, LM7, etc... then I'd keep going until it starts pushing water or I'm happy with where I'm at.

These flow up to 140lb, $50 cheaper and no driver box.
This is what I'm planing. Hoping to get 800+rwhp out of them.
Thinking I might need 3 walbro's....

I have an AEM peak & hold driver box for $200 shipped with an uncut harness that I know works well. LMK.

I'm a big fan of FIC but that's a very shady advertisement. Those injectors appear to be 80# @ 43.5 psi. Advertising "up to 140# @ 120 psi" is retarded IMO. I have done my share of fighting injectors and seen the nightmares that you can run into by running an injector without the proper minimum pulsewidth for the application. IMO, the Holley 120# @ 43 psi are THE ****. Great bang for the buck. No adapters or pigtails required.

No doubt the 120's you posted flow more, but most people would rather avoid another part that could fail, and the wiring and cost.

^^^ That is correct ,, i just did mine ,, wires going to the injectors (not the 12v) get routed through the injector driver and then back to the injector ,,, i got 160s on e85 with a base map and it fired right up and idled no problem.. revs real nice, and thats just a base map !.... Josh

I ran an acceleronics driver box with a racetronix PnP harness and 120lb injectors on E85 and it ran great. Then I wanted to try for myself the newer high impedance bosch injectors that FIC and ID sell so I swapped out to the 120s from FIC and they idled and ran just as clean if not cleaner than the low imp injectors w/driver box. I never had a problem either way and last night I just setup another E85 car with the high impedance 160s from FIC and it idles great as well.
