Updates.

After Breaking the engine down for new head gaskets and finding a nice set of Dome pistons we took a step back and said Hmmmmm. We decided to swap pistons for a set of the Dished variety to lower the compression ratio. A BS3 computer and new custom Comp cam have made their way into the mix as well.

Fast Forward to today. REASSEMBLEY has started. Fresh engine is back in the car along with the trans.

I have hired a full time Employee to help at the shop. It has made life easier by far.

Anyway, Here are some Pics:

Killer looking build. What will the new pistons drop compression to?

Roughly 9.8-10:1. Good for Pump Gas, C16, or E85. We have 160lb injectors on the car right now. I have twin Bosch 044 pumps (rated 750hp each) getting ready to go on.

nice build, can't wait to see results, i'm 50/50 about going E85, whether its worth it or not, heard lots of different pros and cons, (most cons in older cars not set up for it though) seems like its starting to get more popular though, will be interested to see this.

That is the plan. I am in the middle of running the Drivers DP back over the Drivers side of the engine. I think it will make for a much cleaner look and Easier to pull apart if need be. New pics up tomorrow afternoon.

Here are the revised Down Pipe shots. Still a work in progress. Made the change to have the Driver and Passenger DP's go over the K-Member on thier respective sides. IMO it looks cleaner.

I will bring the Drivers DP under the trans to meet the Passenger side DP so that both DP's exit at the same piont under the car.

More Pics to come.
