Need to ask you guys (and ladies) if you are running turbo or supercharged, this kind of hp, are you still running with your stock radiator with your forced in your cars? My last motor has blown and this time, we're going with an all forged internal motor. Somehow, the question of and aftermarket radiator has come up. In my opinion, if something's not broke, dont fix it. In saying that, i just replaced the radiator mid last year and it (along with the rest of the components) have been working fine. Need your opinion, please. Thanks.

I have a Be cool radiator in my car. I had to change the radiator as we mounted it below the radiator support to give room to the twin turbos. I've also get AC on my car with a custom condenser. My car stays cool throughout the summer as long as the AC is off while I'm in stop and go traffic or it will get hot.

I've been running the stock one for about a year with a single fan and haven't had any problems. I did just switch to a griffin for space purposes though.

don't understand why someone would recommend replacing the stock radiator, first off, if its new and if i was keeping a temp of 170 to 180 degrees in mid summer heat, along with the rest of the cooling things that's attached.

I think it depends on the fans. The factory fans pull an incredible amount of air. I think it also depends if the car has the a/c condenser in the way. For me, using pusher fans with a/c....the stock rad couldn't keep up on hot days. Now with the griffin & a/c, same spal pusher fans, the car stays cool and the fans actually cycle as they are supposed to instead of running on high the entire time.

A lot depends on the fan(s). I'm procharged and using a Spal 2500 cfm paddle fan. I'm a little above 700 rwhp and have not had any cooling problems even during texas summer heat.

stock rad, A/C, forged motor Procharged 560whp, automatic cooling was through the rad as well (not anymore)
no issues in Nevada or Connecticut
