Default Ls3 vs. 317 heads

What does everyone here think about these two heads on a 390 block. I'm trying to find out if one head is better than the other for FI. I'm planning on pushing 14 psi on a D-1 and was hoping to get as much power on pump gas without pushing water. Anyone have any experience with the LS3 head since I really don't see to much of it on the FI forums.

Thats awesome!!! Does anyone else have good things to say about LS3 heads.. Whats the max power I can get out of the 370, EPP cam and LS3 heads with my D-1. Just curious to know what people have made with this kind of setup..

Well I'm looking to get as much RWHP as I can possibly get, but I figured the Ls3 head flows better and would probably give me more gains than the 317's. I spoke to the builder of the block and he advised that the block could go as high as 1000 rwhp but with a bigger hairdryer. Where you thinking of another head, besides the ls3 or 317?

If you want to make big power start out with a 4.0" bore block or larger....
