2002 camaro SS
Block:
The block is half filled and O-ringed using LS9 head gaskets with 1/2 head studs torqued to 110lbs. The main caps are stock with larger studs cut in to minimize cap walk. This was cheaper at the machine shop than dowel pinning them. 9:1 compression with diamond pistons. Pistons were coated with a ceramic topcoat and slick side coat.
JR racing did the coatings.
Heads
Stock L92s, Stock valves, stock rockers, comp pushrods, stock valve covers.
Arp studs torqued to 110ftlbs.
Fuel system:
-10 feed, -8 return, magnafuel 4303 external pump, -12 bulkhead mounted in stock tank to feed pump. Aeromotive rails and proseries regulator.
Ignition:
Stock plug wires and stock ls1 coils. Plugs are Autolite 9311 gapped at 16 thousands.
Intake:
L76 stock GM intake, 92mm Throttle body, 4inch ebay intercooler (3in/3out), 3inch piping from turbo to intercooler, 3.5 out to throttle body.
Turbo setup:
Stainless hot pipes fabbed in my garage. S91 Turbocharger, JGS 60mm wastegate. Tial Blow off valve.
Trans and rear end:
Moser 9inch, strange center section, Rossler TH400 RMVB.
Cooling
Griffin radiator, Taurus fan, stock water pump. Runs and idles at 175* on 80* days, ran at 185* with stock ls1 fan.
DYNO:
car made 809rwhp with 12psi of boost and 20* of timing.
car made 988rwhp with 17psi of boost and 15* of timing.

mls and orings must work, ive done this for years. cheap gasket, oring setup. torque it down.
i added a ford taurus fan to the radiator and small stainless deflector underneith and the car crusies at 175* now. doesnt even rise when idleing.
