HHHAAAA Let us know how that works out for you.
You think you are the only one that tried running two of those derale 16925 on stock wiring. Ask Tally how it worked out for him.

My fan/s will be controlled by the computer. Does anybody here know how to hook up a fan over-ride switch? I would like to be able to turn the fans off and on manually.

I run a 16" and 8" zirgo, low noise, runs cool. I made my fan shroud but I want to redo like the one above. I bought my procharger used so I ended up making a lot of parts instead of using the procharger parts.

I'm thinking of using single w/o a shroud as pusher opposing a single pulley with shroud. Car has large single as stock fan

I'm curious about this as well. I've read they pull like 4000cfm so would they push an equal amount?

Is there a nice weight savings going with aftermarket fans and perhaps thats a reason?

Oem fan is a puller not a pusher. You cannot just flip the blades around and run it, it has to be designed as a puller. Also the stock fans are thick and wouldn't fit that well as a puller option. Really the 2200 cfm derale fan is a great unit, it even comes with mounting hardware and relay + wiring.

Yep. There's plenty people out there running pushers with no problem. I've got two pusher Derale fans but have not tried them out yet.........setbacks suck.

I worked it out so it's no problem now. And in the long run I'm sure I'm going to need the pullers because they do work better. I'm going to be at 1500+ on HP so I need all the help I can get.

i was under the impression you didnt want a shroud on a pusher setup?
Just installed a set of these on my car after the flexalite pullers I had failed.

These fans are straight business! I love em!

Well I ordered the derale 16925 fans back in late February and they keep pushing the date back. They are now back ordered until May 19th. Not letting the car sit for another month before I can finish the car. Anybody have any other fans that work well?

I went with a custom made aluminium fan shroud with a 16" and IIRC 9" puller Spal fans. I have two Derale pushers with less than 200 mile run time on them if interested.
