Default Need your opinions...Greddy Boost Controller or AEM Boost controller.

Found a couple guys locally selling these units.
Greddy is used for $300
AEM is new for $250
I'd like to pick one of these up.
Let me know which one you like and why.

I like the older profec b with 3 *****, it is very simple and easy to use. For some reason every one I have ever seen has 1 non-functional channel though. The AEM works eventually but I'm always quite annoyed by the time I have one of them dialed in.

LOL I opened strictly to say 'neither'.

I've had the Greddy and it sucked. I now have the eBoost2 and absolutely love it.

I havent dealt with the AEM, but have read that it sometimes has trouble controlling boost.

I'd say go with the Greddy if you have a camaro, I installed my Greddy ProfecII right next to the taction control and fog lamps switches (extra slots which are covered by a rectangular shape camaro or ss name plate). I don't have any problem with the Greddy unit, works great for me.

My initial post is helpful considering both of the listed boost controllers are junk. I'm being helpful by steering him away from a headache. So you can suck it.

I had a Greddy on a twin-turbo cobra and have zero complaints. It worked perfect for what it was...Boost control was solid, stayed where I set it regardless of weather or anything.

The 2-stage feature was nice for the track. I'd launch with lower boost and then hit the button to turn it up after I shifted 2nd gear. Poor man's AMS.

what about the ams 500? its has two stages, and the one can ramp. you can get new for 500 or used for 300 range. i have one in my turbo car but i also use c02 to control the boost, but you dont need to

I ended up getting the Greddy for 150.
Putting it in tomorrow and dyno time next week.
