For those of you who have gone through with the stand up mod on your radiator, if you were running a methanol tank up front (windshield washer fluid tank) what did you do?

It looks like once you stand up the radiator that tank has to be removed. I know there is a tank you can run from your trunk, but that seems sketchy. If anyone has any pictures of their setup, that would be helpful. Thanks!

?? There are plenty of ways to stand up the rad and keep the tank in the same spot.

Hi, this might help you out. We're now making a tank that will fit in the driver's side front, with a bit of cutting/modifications involved. Here's a pic of the tank:

^^ Only problem I see with that design is that you are blocking off the hole where a lot of people run their inlet tube from. Also, not sure if that would interfere with the fuses or not, but I don't see them in that pic you posted above.

That looks like a really nice piece! I agree w/ the fuse blocks though. I'm wondering if there is anything out there that goes where the battery is? I have no issue relocating it.

I have mine mounted on the radiator support were the fuse blocks used to go. I will snap a pic later.

We can actually reverse the tank to the opposite side where the battery used to be. Basically would flip the top to where the notch is on the opposite side. We just built this particular tank for the driver's side since we're not running a stock fuse box on this particular car.

Can't use an aluminum tank for METH since it is corrosive to aluminum.

I used a JAZ fuel cell from a JR dragster and modified it

I just went to the junkyard and searched for a washer tank that would fit.....ended up finding one off a jetta, holds almost a gallon.

That's actually a great and inexpensive alternative. I'm gonna look into getting a couple of those tanks and maybe putting together a kit.

All I did was take the Petcock out that the JR dragster tank uses and put in a brass bulkhead fitting that fit up to the lines from my Alky control meth kit

I have mine mounted in the rear and love it. Its a 3 gallon plastic fuel cell looks great and accents the car and methanol pump since both are black and red. Its mounted right behind the rear seats on the hump. Ill post pics when I get my car back

The concept of having the supply that far away from where it's needed is sketchy. Seems like it would take a long time to purge to.
