Just the 9000cc injectors are insane ! Hollow Camshafts , titanium compressor wheels etc,,, really neat stuff .

on a four banger setup its like $100,000 setup .
$30k crankshaft , $3500 a rod , not even using a head gasket on a custom cnc made block .
Valvetrain is got copper berrylium valve seats on 13 something compression with berrylium pistons .
Turbos these dudes make are making incredible numbers .
Just insane stuff .

Wow, I really want to see that car run, but after a few pages I didn't see much more info on it.

IIRC that setup didn't start to make boost until 5000 rpms.

Still hadn't given up at 8500 RPM though. That's how rice is.

http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-dyn...ne-2007-a.html
feel like reading some more on this ? this is a more in depth thread . has some really cool information on this stuff along with more eye candy .
just cool to me to see and read about a bit of high end parts used for racing that are not seen or discussed much .
lots of technical info as well further info on things about f1 and f1 parts makers .
read somewhere that f1 is considering going to a 4 banger turbo setup in a few seasons down the road .
seems that beryllium is forbidden in some racing groups due to being dangerous to breathe so moldstar is a sub .

That setup should make some crazy power if the crank stays together, I don't think it will though. I forget the details on the turbo Spyros is using but it should make some stupid power if he gets the combination sorted out. I haven't heard from him if he got the car running yet or not. Some pics of the header we built him are here...

We have a another 4g63 setup here in the states that has made similar power, but the turbo was surging something awful. Tial made some changes to the compressor wheel for us and will hopefully give it another go here shortly. If all goes well and the crank doesn't pull the block apart it should make well over 1600hp.
