gt-3582r upgrade to ................... i have twin gt-3582r t3 w 1.06 a/r's on my 427. wondering what is the next step to go ? i know garret , pte have drop in replacements. just wondering what is the best option for me to go ? i want to be able to drop them in without changing the hot side. keep the t3 flange keep the 3" 4-bolt downpipes.
just want to weigh my options ?
motor is a 427 lsx , tea tfs 235 cc - 6 bolt with 1/2 studs, dragonslayer 4.00, lunati pro billet 6.125, diamond coated pistons, 236/230 61x/6xx lift.
this is also in a heavy 6klb truck . trying for 9's in it while keeping awd

I have a billet upgrade for the 35Rs. They flow high 70s lb/min, and should produce 125-150 hp more per turbo, and love high pressure.
The GTX wheels were not designed for performance, from what Ive been told. They do perform marginally better, but they stuffed another blade in the wheel, which restricts airflow. They were designed for diesels and keeping them quiet.

Did you get my pm on the other site about upgrading yours to the Billet HTA 3586's. I went with the 3586 over the GTX3582R for the TT Camaro. According to the Garrett catalog the GTX3582 is good up to 750HP.
If not I can sell you two Garrett GT-76's. I was going to use one in the Silverado but was told it was too small(turbine wheel) so I pulled the other one off the Hemi and was going to use both on the Silvy and just buy a bigger(GT-91) one for the Hemi.

yeah but i need something to bolt up . if im going to change flanges im going to build everything new. which isnt happening now . i want to max this setup at high pressure first.
just need to get some money together. i did gte a reply from pte for their replacement of the gt-3582 and they only want 400 a turbo to do the wheel swap . anyone have any info on them ??
