Angry Alt relocation belt problems

Guys i need your help ive got a front mount kytp 78mm kit on my trans am with a alt relocation kit stenod performance made it for me now i drove the car maybe 3500 miles with no problems then one day the belt shreds so i get another belt on and now the first day i drive it maybe 80 miles it shreds a little but then it slips of my mechanic that worked on it and put the belt on said it would flop a little bit on deceleration but that was it do you think it jus needs to be shorter so it will be tighter. The belt has a long way to go from the pass side head all the way down to the crank pulley do you think it should be some kind of tensioner between them thx in advance.

How much play is in the belt...fully tensioned? When I mean fully tensioned, I mean the adjustment on the alt itself?

That's way too much play I would go to a smaller belt. I just put a 68 on mine...tight as **** and can't fully tension. 69, however goes on with ease, but has too much play when tensioned. I guess I found a happy medium. Won't know until I can start the car.

67 might be too small. It was for me.

I had a problem with the alternator being out of line. I had to shim it out. I bought another belt and it was good after that. I don't know if that helps or not.
