Curious, why did you select 3.25s?

I had 3.50 gear for my nitrous setup and knew I would need more gear. Other than that I didn't have much more of a reason. By your comment it seems like you think another gear might work better?

He's going thru the traps at 7700 ish with this gear so it seems about right with just a little headroom to grow. Remember that he is on a 28" drag radial (MT 325/50/15).

No, just curious. Some guys choose smaller gears because the are trying to get the motor to work within a specific RPM or cam selection. Just understanding your thought process.

Cam is really small for a solid roller and I'm pretty sure that the Billet Wilson peaks around 7,000 RPM but seems to carry well. It does seem to run faster when he holds first out to 7900-8000 but in drive (2nd) we try to keep her under 8K. The 3.25 gear is VERY nice and comfortable on the street.

I would love to hear if anyone has any dyno data for one of these Billet Wilsons. Maybe Shawn has done some testing? I may present this question on the Bullet as well. We have dyno (specially chassis dyno) phobia.

Shawn hasn't. We only have data on the marcellas. Did you guys put EGTs on that thing yet?

How did the EGTs look on the 787 pass? Do you have a log of the EGTs you care to share?

They are not accurate. Not even close. Steve was working on getting that sorted out but then got side tracked with some other stuff. They are working good enough to tell us if there is a burnt wire or a plug issue but that's about it.

Right now he is in the process of replacing the stock oil pan with the Moroso piece and relocating the filter. Stock oil pan does not like those G's.

IIRC you and Shawn bumped heads a little about this awhile back. Shawn was stating that when you are running some sick numbers using alot of boost the Marcella intake helped distribute the cylinders a little more even than the Billet Wilson which helped tuning and in turn making you faster.

Fantastic numbers! Congrats! I'm contemplating a twin turbo build myself and I was wonders what size primary's are on your headers? You might has said that somewhere so I'm sorry if I missed it. Again, great numbers and a great set-up.

Yeah, that's why I thought that he may have some data on the Wilson. Sounded like he tested them head to head.

PM Josh @ KYTP, he built them. Can't remember. They are either 1.75" or 1.875".

My understanding is that it has nothing to do with the Holley EMS. The EGT system itself is standalone and outputs to whichever EMS you happen to be using. It has to do with how the probes themselves operate. Maybe Steve will see and shed some light. I try to keep my part well compartmentalized.
