Default What Alternator Bracket is this?

I need to get this setup on a 5.3 im boosting. Ive been looking all over for info on this setup but i dont see anything except pictures, no write ups. It looks like the stock low mount passenger side bracket on the ls1 out of camaro/firebirds that is just moved to the top of the motor? Plz help thanks!!

Looks like a modified stock f body bracket.

i have a spoolin performance alternator relocation bracket that utilizes the stock tensioner if anyone is interested ill do 80+ shipping its powder coated black i was going to use it on my car but with my ebay kit i cant use the tensioner because my driver side exhaust is to close to the block pm me if interested

well i started to mount the bracket to the engine, and got a pretty good idea how it goes on judging from the pic posted from OP id like to see how the tensioner gets bolted on.

The alternator serves as the tensioner as the old cars used to.

Sorry there was another post with pictures of that bracket the guy above us posted for sale, it has since been deleted. That is why i asked for no hijacking. A mod must have deleted it.

ok then, my bad

looks like the alternator gets bolted to the bracket with just bolts and nuts on each ends...and the single bolt on the bottom in the middle bolts to the head, and you make some kind of adjuster to tighten the belt as needed. dont even have to cut/chop the stock bracket up.and you will need to make a spacer about an inch thick to go between the head and alternator bracket so you get the proper spacing.

Bracket gets cut and you bolt it to the waterpump ear. Search Tally's name above for his pics.

use adequate length spacers for belt alignment and remove necessary material from alt for cylinder head clearance

also need to mention i dont have a stock alternator. might need to modify the back cover of the stock alternator, not sure

Are the bolt holes on the front of ls1 cylinder heads, the same as 5.3 truck heads?

What alternator are you using?
